Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Parties

Recipient: Independence Engine (getindependence.app).

Discloser: Customer providing repository access or uploading export data (“Customer”).

Purpose

Use of the Customer’s repository, export data, and anything derived from it solely to perform the assessment or migration requested by the Customer.

Confidential Information

The repository contents or export data provided by Customer and all information, code, and data derived from it while performing the assessment or migration (“Confidential Information”).

Obligations

• Use only: Recipient will use Confidential Information only to perform the assessment or migration for Customer. No other internal use, analytics, or reuse.
• Non-disclosure: Recipient will not disclose Confidential Information to any third party.
• Retention: Recipient will not retain Confidential Information and run/report data longer than 14 days after delivering the output. Data is deleted or anonymized after that period to support follow-up and customer support; thereafter it is not retained.
• Security: Recipient processes data securely during the assessment or migration and does not store raw file contents long-term.
• Ownership: Customer retains all rights to code, data, and migration output.

Privacy & Deletion

We retain run and report data for 14 days so you have a history of your run and any issues that might arise for customer support. After 14 days we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@getindependence.app or via our Privacy / Delete my data and our Refund Policy page. We will remove your run and report data within 72 hours. Billing records may be retained as required by law.
